Individual creative mentoring - online
Do you need some guidance to make the most of your creative vision?
Sometimes artists experience a mental block. At other times they need a little help to shape a project or to set a new direction for their work. On occasion they just need someone to be accountable to and make sure that they progress.
If that sounds like you, my mentoring can help!
We work together online in a relaxed atmosphere. I’ll help you understand and refine what you want to achieve during or time together. We will set out a pathway to agree how you are going to get there. At the end of each call we will set action points to make sure you progress. You also receive a recording of the session.
Here are some of the things that I help with:
· Inspiration and ideas
· Shaping and progressing projects
· Developing style and vision
· Smartphone photography and editing apps
· Lightroom editing and visualisation
We can work together for as long as you need. You may need a simple piece of help or direction and we’ll cover that in a one-hour session. Or we may agree to work on a new direction or a project together over a number of months.
If you have any questions or want to work out if I am the best person to help you then please contact me.

Testimonials
I was lucky enough to attend a workshop with Matt and learned so much. Matt is an excellent tutor and presented the information in a clear and accessible way. He encouraged us to use our mobile phone cameras to take pictures that went deeper than the usual quick snaps. We also spent a little time on editing software which I found very useful. I took a photo that I really love which I had printed and have hung on the wall at home. I highly recommend this training if you want to explore better mobile phone photography.

I was lucky to be a participant in one of Matt's smartphone sessions.
The day revolved around thinking about what you want to say in your photos - how to construct a scene, how to choose angles, viewpoints and also how to edit your pictures to manage this.
For someone whose main ideas of photos previously had been a recorder of family events, the course was an eye opener.
The main attraction, however, is Matt's experience and ability to put this across. Matt has an excellent portfolio to illustrate his ideas and is a clear communicator in getting this across.
Very highly recommended.

Matt’s photography training simplified the photography process. He inspired me to be much more creative, seeing photographic possibilities in a whole range of subjects. I’d really recommend one of his workshops.
